2019 KTM 790 Duke to be launched in April , spied in India for the first time.

KTM India dealers have already started accepting bookings (unofficially).

‘the Scalpel’ named KTM 790 Duke, was first revealed at 2017 EICMA Show. From that day, many enthusiasts have been waiting for the bike’s launch in India. It appeared again on 2018 EICMA Show as well and created a buzz of India Launch. From that day, many enthusiasts have been waiting for the bike’s launch in our country.

Duke 790 will be imported in India via the CKD route. However, the company will surely be looking for a certain level of localization to reduce costs and to comply with government policies but till date no updates are on same and we have to wait for same.

At 169 kg, KTM 790 Duke delivers a adrenaline rush power to weight ratio. It has advanced electronics and fly-by-wire systems that significantly improve ride dynamics and fuel efficiency. Other key features include multiple drive modes, traction control, LED DRLs, fully digital instrument console, disc brakes, Bosch cornering ABS, launch control and quickshifter.

Estimated price of KTM 790 Duke is Rs 6.5 lakhs. 790 Duke will be competing with likes of bikes in the middle-range street bikes segment such as Triumph Street Triple S,Ducati Monster, Kawasaki Z900, GSXS 750.
